MEGA-URGENT FOSTER HOME REQUIRED We have an 11yr old Toy Poodle who needs a foster home urgently. He is on medication and must be placed in a home WITH NO OTHER DOGS. He is absolutely fine with cats though. Phone Hanna on 01507-479509 if you can help

Poodles Looking For Their New Forever Home N.B. Please see our LOOKING FOR A POODLE? page before you decide on a dog. Regardless how experienced you feel you are as a poodle owner, we must follow certain protocols and this page will explain what we go through before rehoming a dog. Here are some of the poodles (and occasionally other dogs) we have ready for re-homing. This may not always be an up-to-date reflection of all of the dogs we have in our care. Therefore, if you do not see a dog you feel suitable for you, please do not pass us by but please call Hanna. She always knows what dogs are still being assessed and others which are due to come to us shortly. Some dogs are only with us for a week, sadly some seem to stay with us for a few months. Therefore please scroll down to through the list for newcomers. We will never turn a dog away. All the poodles (and sometimes other dogs we take in for re-homing) cannot help what colour they are, what sex they were born, what age they are nor the state of their health. They all need to be looked after and deserve a loving, forever home for the rest of their days. As mentioned earlier on this site, this organisation is run by one of its founders single handedly and although based in Lincolnshire, it does have volunteer foster carers and therefore dogs based throughout most of the U.K.. At the end of last year we re-homed some 37 dogs and had another 10 awaiting their forever home. For one woman, that's a lot of dogs!! So far in 2011, we have exceeded this figure. Given this fact, your enquiries may not be answered immediately but please do leave a message and a contact telephone number and your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity although this may be between 1 to 2 weeks, we will call you back, so please be patient. | Brown Standard Neutered Dog 4 Years Old Ref: AV084 
| This large Standard is an absolute joy. He has only been with us for less than a week and although told he had had little socialisation he has shown no issues with the fosterers dogs. He does try to play with all dogs and can be a bit over zealous for small dogs due to his size and lack of socialisation. He is 28.5" to the shoulder and currently weighs 44kg ! He definitely needs a healthy diet and daily exercise. He does pull on the lead but is getting better. He just needs to be shown what is acceptable.He does have basic training...he will sit, go down/flat and comes when called but he has not been off-lead yet.

| Black Miniature Bitch 2 Years Old Ref: AV083 
| This girl is quite a large Miniature and the blackest of black. She is very unsure of herself with strangers and other dogs until she gets to know them. Underneath all of her nervousness there is a really lovely little dog. It has taken her a week in her foster home to become secure enough to start to have a little game with either a ball or a soft toy, but as soon as another dog appears she stops and goes back to her bed. She can bark at strangers and other dogs when out walking but this is because she is nervous. She has started giving kisses and loves a cuddle. She is good at being bathed and clipped. She will need an understanding home where there is patience, love and willingness to help her overcome her insecurities.

Jack Russell Terrier Cross 2-3 Years Old Ref: AVJRT 
| This girl has come in via a contact of one of our fosterers. She brindle and white JR X with a fantastic temprement, easy going and ok with other dogs but derserves to be the only dog. Tilly is aprox 2-3 years and full of life and energetic. Tilly never stops moving and just adores children and people, a little nervous if approached too fast but this is understandable after whats happened to her Tilly is vacinated mircochipped and will need spaying after may 2012 |

| SIBERIAN HUSKY DOG 8 mths old Ref: AV0SH 
| This lad is being cared for by one of our fosterers after his previous owners decided they could not afford his operation and was going to have him put to sleep! He is an 8 month old Siberian Husky, he is Black/Grey and White. He is recovering from a major leg operation and in time will be back to normal but it is important that the new owner is willing to take on his special needs for recovery. He will require limited excercise and alot of TLC. Hugh is typical of his breed, very playful, strong willed and requires a lot of interaction. We have found him to be good with other dogs and cats. We have seen no issues with children but as he is a young and playful large dog we would recommend living with children over 10 years. If you are considering this dog, you should be prepared for large amounts of exercise once he has recovered, and to be firm and in control as Husky's will naturally take control if allowed |

| APRICOT LARGE TOY/MINIATURE POODLE DOG 14 months old Ref: AV082 
| This lad is now with the fosterer. He is very loving but has tons of energy and would be ideal for someone wishing to do agility. He is quick to learn, very active and thus needs a lot of mental and physical activity. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. |

| BLACK/SILVER STANDARD POODLE DOG 3 yrs old Ref: AV081 
| This three year old male Standard is coming in very shortly. He has been microchipped and vaccinated but has yet to be neutered. The current owners say he is very loving and is good in the car and on the lead. As he was kept in kennels for the first half of his life, can still be wary of strangers. Also due to him not having been neutered,he can be dominant with other dogs. This should change fairly qucikly after being castrated and in the hands of an experienced owner. Once he is in his foster home, neutered and independantly assessed, we shall update his details. He will however, be best suited to a home with a neutered Standard Poodle bitch. Should you feel you may be interested in him, please call Hanna 29/1/12: He has just been castrated and clipped very short due to the previous lack of grooming. He is a little nervous when grooming and wriggles as he obviously hadn't been groomed on a regular basis before. Other than that, he is happy to be grromed. He loves other dogs and is full of life, playful with both adults and older children and a joy to have. When he new coat growns through he is more likely shows a Blue/Silver colouring rather than a true Black. |

| APRICOT MINIATURE POODLE DOG 18mths old 2yrs old

| 3.1.2012: We are shocked that we have had so few enquiries about this dog. He is adorable and the only issue is that he suffers separation anxiety and although this is being worked on, can still be an issue. There is no agression whatsoever. This lad is adorable. Needs a bit of confidence building but has started playing with the fosterers dogs. Very loyal and very loving. Vet checked and now neutered.

| This lad is neutered, is living with other dogs and has settled in well. Would ideally suit a home with another small poodle or even a small Standard bitch. He is a little darling! Vaccinated, microchipped and only came to us due to the previous young owners poor health. 3/1/2012: WE SIMPLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY NO ONE SEEMS INTERESTED IN THIS BOY. HE IS A REAL SWEETHEART. | MINIATURE BLACK POODLE 7 6 YRS OLD

| This neutered male is good being groomed although like many poodles, not keen on having his feet clipped! He loves the car and his walks. When he gets excited, normally when you come home, he can wind other small dogs up by barking at them, nosing them or even trying to mount them. This doesn't last long though and his is improving but it must be considered. He is currently living happily with a mixture of Standards, Mins and a Toy but we feel he would be equally happy being an only dog. WE HAVE JUST REALISED HE WAS 6 IN DECEMBER He is such a good boy in the house. He lets you know when he needs to go out, loves a cuddle and is a good house dog. Please note,,, he hate cats!  |

Would suit being an only dog where there are no cats! She is currently having to have Optimune daily for dry eye but this is being monitored. |

| He has a lovely temperement but needs complete training in socialisation and obedience. Slightly on the timid side but is slowly gaining confidence. Has now been vet checked and neutered. He would be suitable for a home with another poodle who is a calm, placid dog as he still does not really know how to interact with other dogs. |

BROWN STANDARD POODLE DOG
5 - 6 yrs old Ref: AV000 | We took this lad in from pound kennels as he wasn't doing well there. When we were asked to take him in, we had no idea how poorly he was. We discovered he had health problems and after numerous visits to the vet, the sad, heartbreaking decision was made to have him put to sleep as he was too ill to have been operated on. R.I.P. |
